Please read these terms carefully. Halawasl is a free connection platform between drivers and passengers in the Middle East region, committed to all local laws and Personal Data Protection regulations.
Acceptance of Terms and Legal Compliance
By using Halawasl free services, you agree to these terms and compliance with all local laws in the Middle East region. We are fully committed to compliance with public transport laws and Personal Data Protection regulations applicable in your country.
Eligibility and Usage Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of Middle East countries. For drivers: must possess valid driver's license, active vehicle insurance, and pass security background checks before accepting passenger requests.
Free Connection Service
Halawasl is a free platform connecting passengers and drivers. No usage fees currently apply. We advise drivers to wear appropriate attire, maintain high service standards, and not cancel confirmed trips without valid reason to ensure better experience for all.
User Responsibility
By using the App, you agree that you are solely responsible for planning and managing rides and agreements with other users. The App assumes no legal responsibility for user data accuracy, driver license validity, or vehicle ownership beyond limited verification. You are fully responsible for your personal safety during rides. Sensitive or financial information must not be shared with other users.
Allowed and Prohibited Use
Allowed Use: Using the App to connect users for voluntary ride-sharing. Prohibited Use: Offering or requesting paid rides or using the App as a commercial transport service, posting false, misleading, offensive, or illegal content, creating fake accounts or providing false information, using the App for illegal activities in any Arab country. Violations may result in account suspension or deletion without prior notice.
Cash Payment in the Car
All rides arranged through the App do not involve any digital or in-app payments. If users wish to share ride costs (e.g., fuel), payment must be made in cash directly in the vehicle between passengers and the driver. The App does not assume any responsibility for payments or disputes. Users are advised to agree on the amount clearly before the ride begins.
Cancellation Policy
Passengers and drivers can cancel trips through the app. We advise early cancellation to allow opportunity for others. Frequent cancellations without valid reason may affect user reputation on platform. We encourage friendly and respectful communication to resolve any issues.
Prohibited Conduct and Penalties
Strictly prohibited: harassment or discrimination, violating local traffic laws, using uninsured vehicles, ignoring safety procedures, or violating public decency standards. Serious violations may result in immediate account termination and we may report to authorities when necessary.
Liability and Insurance
Per local laws, all vehicles must carry valid mandatory insurance. Halawasl is a connection platform only and does not provide direct transport services. Drivers are independent and fully responsible for their insurance and trips. We advise passengers to verify driver information before each trip.
Safety and Security
We provide ratings and reviews system to build community trust. Users can report any inappropriate behavior. We strongly encourage sharing trip details with friends and family. In emergencies, contact local authorities immediately. Your safety is our priority.
Legal Disclaimer
HalaWasl is a voluntary digital platform. The App is not legally responsible for: Any accidents, losses, damages, or disputes between users, Any agreements or transactions that occur outside the App, Any illegal or unlawful use in any Arab country. Using the App is entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
Halawasl will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your service use, to the extent permitted by local law. We provide the platform "as is" without any warranties. Users bear full responsibility for all their interactions and trips.
Intellectual Property Rights
All design, programming, logos, and textual content of HalaWasl are owned by the App management. No part of the App may be copied, modified, or republished without written permission from the legal owner.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These terms are governed by local laws in your country within Middle East region. We strongly encourage amicable dispute resolution between users first. In case of serious disputes, can resort to competent courts in your country. Arabic language prevails in case of conflict with English version.
Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to update these terms to comply with new laws or improve service. Material updates will require your explicit consent. Users responsible for regularly reviewing terms. Continued service use after updates means your full acceptance of them.
